Jonathan excelled in school, aspiring to be a lawyer from an early age. Jonathan attended Sam Houston High School, where he lettered in tennis and basketball, was a member of the Student Council and Beta Club, and graduated with honors.
From Moss Bluff to Baton Rouge: Jonathan attended LSU, where he graduated in 3.5 years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Upon graduating, he stayed in Baton Rouge to earn a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
Jonathan has been happily married to Hannah Johnson for nine years. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, Hannah is a speech pathologist at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital near Lake Charles. The couple has two daughters, Faith Elizabeth and Lyn Elyse.
In their free time, Jonathan and Hannah attend Crossfit classes in Lake Charles, where they have trained and competed for eight years. Jonathan plays several sports, including basketball, tennis, and golf, and enjoys working on his ‘87 K5 Blazer. The couple loves having family time with their daughters and feels fortunate to live close to family.
The Johnsons are active members at First Baptist Church of Hackberry, where Johnathon also serves as a full-time worship leader. Another faith-based organization in which Hannah and Johnathon actively participate is FaithWalk South Louisiana, an organization where the couple has served and led for years.
Jonathan also participated in South American mission trips where he helped build churches and run medical clinics. He is grateful for these experiences and looks forward to continue making a difference in many people’s lives.
